As most of you know, the Aden & Anais muslin blankets are probably the best baby necessity EVER! They are so lightweight yet provide enough warmth all year round and are breathable, soft, and HUGE! Then they started offering muslin with bamboo threading and they got even SOFTER. Well, the bamboo version has been on backorder for weeks but now they are back in stock so stop in if you've been waiting for them.


And for the first time ever, we also got in the Aden & Anais Dream blankets! I've gotten requests for these since we opened and am excited that we finally have them in. New stuff!

So after a few days of software issues, I'm finally able to play catch up! Earlier this week, we got our first shipment of the Fall Tea collection for girls. My favorite piece is definitely the knit slim cut pants with zippers at the ankle that look like denim! It' s hard for me to get Lucy to wear jeans so these are perfect for her. They have the look of jeans but the comfort of knit leggings.





I also wanted to share something fun and exciting that is happening for my friend Tricia. Not only is she excited to be pregnant with her first little one, but she also has gotten the opportunity to document and share her journey through a fun site called My First Baby. I met Tricia a few months back while she was planning a baby shower for a good friend of hers. We instantly connected, probably because she is HILAROUS and so down to earth its hard not to love her. OK, and it probably didn't hurt that she has a portion of Tommy Boy as a ring tone on her phone. How can you not love that? Check out her latest video post here.

Nursing covers

One of the hardest things about picking out things for the store is taking some of my personal opinion out of the equation. I have definitely learned that everyone has their own taste and preference and it's not always the same as mine. Nursing covers are one of these things. I never used one with Lucy and Holly never used one with Isabelle even though both of us nursed for a year. I always used a blanket (would have LOVED to have a muslin blanket for that purpose) so I thought a nursing cover was an unecessary waste of money. Well fast forward two years and I get at least one request a week for nursing covers! After researching for a brand that is unique to the area, I found these...

Handmade and lightweight, these covers come in a matching fabric pouch that doubles as a diapers and wipes holder. Two terry cloth interior pockets double as burpies for baby's mouth. Just look at the cute fabrics!

And as luck would have it, they also make the most adorable bandanas for little girls! I'm a sucker for hair accessories so I HAD to get these!

Snacks happen

The product we got in yesterday is one of those things that makes so much sense, it's hard NOT to have at least one of them on hand. Snack Happened reusable snack bags are great for anything and everything you would normally use a ziploc for. Why throw away bag after bag when you can just reuse one? and it begins...

Our very first shipment of Fall clothing arrived this week and I have to admit, I was pretty excited! I hate to think that summer will soon come to an end but the lull in between seasons in the fashion world can get long. I love seeing the new patterns and colors! Our first shipment was from one of my favorite lines Daily Tea.




Right now we have boy and girl baby rompers and big boy (up to 4T). Our girl line of the Tea collection has shipped and will hopefully be here before the weekend.

Also, for those of you waiting patiently for the bamboo muslin blankets, I checked again this week and it looks like they should be shipping on Monday. Hopefully I'll have them by Friday but I will keep you posted when they arrive.

Busy weekend!

Lucy and I had a busy weekend!! First stop...the Redhawks game on Friday night. I don't know if she really even noticed the baseball game but boy did she enjoy the FOOD!


Holly wasn't feeling good on Sunday so I decided to take Lucy and Isabelle to the fair! Needless to say...the girls had a BLAST!

I was so proud of both the girls. They were so good and we really had a great time.

How cute are these two?
This is from a few weekends ago when, Holly, Isabelle, Lucy and I got to spend a beautiful day at the lake. It was a little windy there so we ended up coming home lounging on my patio so the girls could have some "pool time". I'm trying to get as much girl time as I can before Holly's husband comes home in a few weeks from deployment! I don't know what I'd do with out my bestie or what my little Lulu would do without her best bud Izzy.

4th of July hours
