Who doesn't love the Tickle Monster?

I have been DYING to get this book/kit forever and after lots of searching, I FINALLY FOUND IT and have it on our shelves just in time for Christmas shopping! The tickle monster is loveable monster with big puffy mitts has just flown in from Planet Tickle. His mission is to bring joy and laughter to planet Earth. How? By tickling anyone who comes across his path. Get ready to read aloud and tickle along with this wonderful little rascal, while your children squirm and giggle with delight. There is no better childhood memory than time spent laughing together. "The best sound in the world is the glorious sound of my children laughing. Children love playfulness. They love silliness and they LOVE being tickled! This isn't just a book, it comes with big furry "tickle mitts" too! I LOVE IT!

blogs I love

So, instead of the usual post I thought I'd try something different today. I read a lot of blogs, friend blogs, parenting blogs, kids product blogs, store blogs, and on and on. Aside from the friend blogs, most of the others are for store and product ideas and although I enjoy readng them, they aren't quite as good as some of the fun, hilarious, or just down right heart felt and touching blogs that I follow. Here are some of my "can't miss" favorites...
1. rialee photography Who doesn't like to look at babies and kids right? Ria's talent and creativity amazes me and I just can't get enough of it! I suppose it doesn't hurt that she's just a great girl too.
2. Matt, Liz, and Madeline At risk of sounding too cheesy, this is a blog that has definitely changed my life in some ways. Matt's story of losing his wife just hours after delivering their only daughter is beautiful, real, and heart wrenching.
3. Ms. Single Mama Because I split from my hubby when my little Lucy was born, I was thrown into single motherhood without any warning or preperation! I somehow stumbled upon this blog and can't tell you how much I relate to some of her posts. She doesn't play the victim and I admire her strength so much.
4. Dooce I've mentioned this one before and really she is just downright hilarious. She verbalizes what many of us think but would never say and that's just totally entertaining!

I must warn you that with the exception of Ria's and Single Mama's, these blogs may use some pretty harsh lanuage so if you get offended easily, you might want to skip those.

I could go on and on because some of my greatest girlfriend write some amazing blogs that keep us all up to date on what is going on in each other lives. What did we do before the internet? Anyway, now it's your turn. What are some of your "can't miss" blogs?

Rethink & Save!

A 12 ounce bottle of water costs about $1.50. It costs a quarter penny to fill up our 12 ounce Safe Sporter™ water bottle.

One of the easiest ways to save is to replace your bottled water with reusable, easy to recycle stainless steel water bottles. What kind of savings? Nearly $2000 per year for some families! And consider these other ways we can rethink: SAVE

•Save our oil. One plastic water bottle takes 5 ounces of oil to make. The oil we waste making water bottles every year would power 12 million cars.
•Save our water. A single plastic bottle can take 2-7 times the amount of liquid that bottle holds just to make the bottle in the first place. Water wasted worldwide every year? Almost one trillion gallons!
•Save our environment. We recycle less than 15%. The rest end up in landfills, incinerators…or the ocean.

Save $2000 per family and the planet, too? Yes PLEASE! Check out the new colors of Safe Sporter Stainless Steel water bottles that came in today...

At just 12oz, they are the perfect size for lunch boxes and cup holders! Oh, and check out the new color of Safe Sippy too!

whirlwind week!

I'm sorry for not posting for a WHOLE WEEK but let me tell you, it's been a crazy busy one around here! I just returned from a short trip to Vegas for the All Baby and Child Expo which was amazing! I saw LOTS and LOTS of great things and will now spend the week trying to wrap my head around it all.

If you stopped in while I was gone, you may have seen a few new faces and I will be sure to introduce them on the blog soon. It's been exciting to hire my very first employees!

There are boxes of new things waiting for me to open so keep checking back this week for more updates.

Here's a few new holiday outfits that came in as a sneek peak...

Happy Wednesday everyone!

they're back!

Along with being the absolute best selling bottle we've ever carried, the Adiri™ Natural Nurser™ bottle has achieved more international design recognition than any other bottle of any kind in history, winning 15 internationally recognized product design competitions including tying for first place with the “Apple iPod touch” among 23,000 international product submissions. The iconic and patented “natural breast shape” and “petal vent” are among the features that reduced colic and improved the infant feeding experiences that resulted in earning Adiri™ the prestigious MDEA (Medical Design Excellence Award).

Many customers were really sad to learn that Adiri closed it's doors late last year but thankfully, they have been bought by another company and have begun shipping again! Not only are they back but they've improved the cap to prevent leaks AND now include a warming cap so it isn't necessary to purchase those seperately!

Also...if any of you were waiting for our milk trays, they are back in stock!

Hope everyone is having a happy Monday!
