skincare stories

As any of you regular customers know, we've tried a few skincare lines in our last year of business. All of them natural (or at least that's the "claim"). As we become a little more knowledgable in this area, we've realized that you can't always trust what the company claims to be true. Yes, this seems obvious but I guess we were a little naive in thinking that companies couldn't flat out lie about the type of ingredients in their products. Not to say that the brands we have carried are not good products. They have all been good products and all had their share of loyal followers. However, we want to carry products that we can feel confident are the best for our customers.

Earth muffin is one brand that we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I, along with MANY customers, swear by the diaper rash ointment. Not only is it safe to use with cloth diapers but it truly is the BEST stuff I've ever used on Lucy. Holly tried the new bug spray stick and spray on Isabelle and can't say enought good things about it. We plan to expand our inventory to include some type of body wash and shampoo soon so stay tuned to our blog for that. I suppose it doesn't hurt that we happen to LOVE Natalie, the creator of Earth Muffin, who lives right here in Fargo! She works hard to find the perfect combinations for her all natural line all while taking care of her three painfully adorable kids.

The new line that arrived this week is Trukid. Not only is this a totally safe and natural product (The Environmental Working Group (EWG) has awarded TruKid's entire line the safety rating of 0-3! THE SAFEST RATING of all kid's skin care lines!), they focus not only on great skincare but healthy habits for your children. Their website http://www.trukid.com/ even has some great resources to get your kids excited about adopting healthy habits including some fun songs and checklists. Oh, and did I mention that it costs nearly HALF of some of the more popular boutique brands!!! This is truly a product you can use on a daily basis without breaking the bank.

Stop in and check these lines out if you are looking for safe, natural products that will take care of your little one's skin the way you want it to.
Hope to see you soon!
Kris

Anxious to try the Trukid products, and love that they are so economical. Do you know if the Dancing Detangler can be used on wet and dry hair?
Thanks!
