I'm so excited to have gotten our very first shipment of Little Giraffe blankets and blankies today! Seriously, they are so soft the only word to describe them is YUMMY.

Would I look silly in these?

Not only are the prints on these rompers adorable, but they are made from organic cotton which make them even more soft and comfy. I could pull it off right?

Oh and by the way, the haircut went GREAT! She now has and adorable short bob and it's so stinkin' cute I can hardly stand it. Unfortunatly my camera locked up when we got there! My friend april who cut her hair let me take a bunch on her camera so as soon as I get them, I'll share. :)

The best was the next morning Lucy was concerned that her "haircut might get cold" if she didn't wear a hat. Hee hee.

for your all-natural baby

Over the last year and half I've had many requests for wooden teethers and I finally found some that I like! The best part is that this family owned and ran company also makes beautiful wooden baby rattles. What an awesome gift for a new little one that already has everything. Here are the teethers that are made for locally harvested wood (in Vermont)and are carefully sanded smooth to ensure safety.



And, the fun rattles come in three different models both painted and natural...



In other news...Lucy is going to get her hair cut today! I'm nervous but I know she needs it bad! My good friend April, who is part owner of Salon Blue here in Fargo is going to cut it for me so I know she's in good hands. I just know she's going to look so grown up and I've been trying to hold on to her "babiness" as long as possible.

The Tooli is a great bedside companion for your little one to ward of the darkness.These LED lights provide up to 8 hours of soothing light. The best part is that they are rechargable so you don't have to keep replacing batteries! The automatically light up when lifted from the charging base or if there is a loss of electricity. Perfect for those middle of the night trips to the bathroom.

After sifting through nearly 500 entries of so many beautiful babies, the tough decision of narrowing down the contestant to these top three has been made. The WINNER will be announced in the next issue of On The Minds Of Moms, available April 9th. He or she will receive a $150 gift certificate to PoutBaby Boutique, a free session and 16x20 portrait from rialee photography and photos from their session will be featured in the June issue of OTMOM.


Congratulations to Avery, Saathvick and Kailey, and their families! And of course, a big thank you to everyone else who took the time to share their babies with us.

whirlwind weekend!

After our big sale last Friday and Saturday, Holly and I squealed out of town and headed to Minneapolis for a buying show. This is our first market trip since the "incident" at our buying show in Vegas this past September so we were excited! We had big intentions of taking lots of pictures to show off all the fun new stuff coming in this fall (yes, we're picking out Fall already!)but this was about as far as we got with the whole picture taking thing....

After a full day appointments, we were exhausted but found the energy for dinner and drinks with one of our favorite reps at Hells Kitchen downtown (again, I meant to take pictures...oops). The last thing on our agenda? IKEA! After three hours of shopping we somehow managed to get all of this into my vehicle.

Holly may have had to ride with a light fixture on her lap the whole way but you do what you gotta do right?

LOTS of new boy stuff arrived today so check back tomorrow for more on that.

I think this says it all....

Yeah...this is sort of how my weekend went with Lucy. Man is she getting sassy! Anyway, we got this shirt as well as more BOYS stuff from my favorite lil guy line Knuckleheads. We also received the sister line, Hula Mula, which is also TO DIE FOR as usual.

Babylegs giveaway!

Our Spring line of Babylegs just arrived and they are so fun! There are organic, cool (lighter version for Spring/Summer), and even some fun new footless tights.

I use these a lot for Lucy both under skirts and dresses as well as for a cute accessory to wear with her rufflebutt bloomers for gymnastics (which is TO DIE FOR adorable by the way). They even work great for baby boys! Throw them on with just a simple onesie to make a cute, but boyish outfit.

pretty in pink

Our first official Spring clothing line arrived last week and it is ADORABLE! Our next line coming should include some boy too but for now it's a whole lot of pink and I LOVE IT!






And once again I find myself wishing this stuff came in my size.
