What happens in Vegas...

As many of you know Kris and I left for Vegas early Saturday morning to attend the ABC Children's Expo. Our trip didn't quite go as we had hoped.

Early Saturday evening as we were watching the water show at the Bellagio, Kris passed out and hit her head. We would later find out that the cause for her passing out was dehydration.

911 was called and an ambulance was quickly on the scene. We were transported to the ER where Kris had a catscan that revealed a skull fracture and bleeding on her brain. She had to have a craniotomy early Sunday morning. Needless to say, that evening will go down as the most terrifying experience that either of us has been through.

Thankfully, Kris is doing well now. She is still in the hospital here in Vegas, but is expected to get out within the next day or two. Her recovery will probably take a while, but everything is looking great.

If you have any good thoughts or prayers you would like to send this way we would appreciate it.

Holly
