Yes, I know it seems nuts...

but it's Eco-nuts (oooh...that was corny, sorry)! I've been waiting patiently to get this great product in and now that it's here I can't wait to go home and try it out! What is an Eco Nut you ask?

Well, Eco nuts are completely sustainable dried fruit shells that come from the Sapindus mukorossi tree in Nepal, India and Indonesia. These fruit shells have been used in India and China for centuries, and are just now gaining popularity in America and Europe as a renewable, biodegradable and organic alternative to chemical detergents and expensive "green" laundry soaps.

Eco nuts contain saponin, a natural cleaner that works as a surfactant, breaking the surface tension of the water to penetrate the fibers of your clothing, lifting stains from the fabric and leaving dirt suspended in the water to be rinsed away. They are gentle on both clothes and skin, making them ideal for those with sensitive skin, eczema, allergies and psoriasis. Because they are so mild and leave no residuals, they are perfect for baby clothes and cloth diapers! The antimicrobial properties also make them great for septic and grey water systems as well as in both regular or high efficiency machines.

And the best part? The money savings! One medium box of Eco Nuts can be used for up to 50 hot or 90 cold loads of laundry and retails for just $12 (trial size are also available for just $5)!!! The reviews I've gotten from people who have used them have been really positive so I can't wait to go home and do laundry. Wait...did I really just say that?
