Wednesday and Thursday

Hi everyone...

We are still a little uncertain regarding our hours at the store on Wednesday and Thursday. Kris is still displaced because of the flood and I have another job commitment so it may be a day or two before things are back to normal at the store.

We HOPE to be up and running by tomorrow afternoon, but please check the blog or call the store at 356-7688 before stopping in.

Thank you for your patience!

One more day...

Unfortunately Pout will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31st. The weather is definitely not cooperating with Fargo!

I can't wait until we can do things like this...

and wear cute things like this...

Someday....it will happen! I hope you all are staying warm and dry. Hope to see you soon.

Monday

I just wanted to let everyone know that Pout will be open from 12-5 today, Monday, March 30th.

Tomorrow we "should" be open our regular hours, from 10am to 6pm, but with the snow storm on its way please check the blog or call the store before coming in.

I hope that everyone made it through the weekend with no water!

ugh!

So as all you local people know, we are dealing with some pretty scary flood issues at the moment so Pout will be closed today and tomorrow. Hopefully we will be able to open doors again on Monday but I guess we'll see what Mother Nature decides to do. Lets hope for the best and pray for all of us that have homes in harms way....

Friday and Saturday

I just wanted to let everyone know that we will be closed on Friday and Saturday. I am heading out of town with Isabelle before we aren't able to go anywhere at all.

I am praying for a good outcome for all of us, but want to be prepared in case things don't go our way.

Mexico here I come....

Tomorrow morning I will be leaving for the beaches of Mexico!!! Thanks so much Holly & mom for holding down the fort while I'm gone. I'm still teary eyed when I think of being away from my little Lucy but I'm pretty sure she will have a blast with Grandma and Poppa.
What would I do without you mom and dad??? THANK YOU! Holly - I wish SO MUCH that you were coming with me!! Someday soon we WILL get a girls vacation together!

I will be thinking of everyone here and praying for good news regarding the flood (all while drinking Coronas on the beach of course).

See you when I get back......

New for Baby...really

We received a bunch of fun stuff this week but I'm still waiting on images for most of it so I'll tell you about the adorable NEW line that arrived today! New For Baby was created by two moms whose frustration with newborn baby clothes that didn’t fit correctly, didn’t have the newborn details they wanted, and certainly weren’t hip! So they set out to create the ultimate layette… one without ‘typical’ baby colors, or the standard ducks, teddy bears and cars. They chose rich, fresh colors and modern yet sweet mix & match designs on high-quality, super soft fabrics.

The mix and match ability of these styles makes buying baby clothes a breeze. It’s all in the details, and they've got them figured out for you! New For Baby combines every feature newborns need, along with a narrow cut to fit baby in comfy cozy style. Unique and new, cute and classic, this line is a perfect new baby wardrobe.
Stay tuned for more new items.....

Tiny Revolutionary

is the name of the adorable T-shirt and onesie brand we got in today. Tiny Revolutionary is a small kids clothing company on a BIG mission to make the world a kinder, more peaceful place by creating super cool, socially conscious children's clothes with messages of Peace, Hope, Love & Equality. We love this line which also features a Barack Obama inauguration T-shirt. Whatever political views you may have, it's hard to deny that this is a historical time in our country. I know when Lucy & Isabelle grow out of their Obama shirts, we will be able to put these away for them so they each have their own little piece of history.

With sayings like "More milk, less war", "I'll change the world someday", "Be the change you want to see in the world", and "All babies are created equal" how could you not fall in love with these?
Also, we want to remind all of you that Daily Tea is 40%! Stop in and take advantage of these great prices!

SNOWED IN SALE!

Unfortunately, snow days have lost their fun by MARCH so to help cheer everyone up POUT is putting all of our Daily Tea on sale for 40% off!!!! Daily Tea is an awesome brand of mix & match, quality seperates baby and toddler. At this price, you could buy for now AND buy ahead for next Fall! Since we are still in need of long sleeves this time of year, it's a good time to take advantage of this Sale. This line is so cute and versatile for both boys and girls but the best part is that you can literally get 9 outfits out of just 6 pieces! Our girls Daily Tea goes up to 24 months but boys goes all the way to 5t (This was just a result of timing on when we expanded sizes. Toddler girls weren't available at the time).

This line runs pretty true to size and washes SO well (and shrinks VERY little). Stop in and take advantage of these great prices while there are still a variety of sizes available!

We hope to see you soon!

for all of your Girly Girls

I know it seems like the middle of winter (especially today) but Spring IS coming....eventually anyway and we are ready! Some beautiful girl lines have been coming in slowly throughout the last few weeks and we hope that you love them as much as we do. Kit & Lili, One Kid, and Stella Industries are the three specialty lines we have in right now and these outfits/dresses are PERFECT for Easter or just because. If you're anything like Holly and I there doesn't need to be a special occasion for us to put a fabulous dress on our little girls. Check these out....

Can't you just picture your little girly girl in one of these?
Also, I wanted to let everyone know that we got in our new Spring colors of rufflebutts including green, purple, aqua, and fuchsia. I know some of you have been waiting patiently for them!
One other shipment some of you have been waiting for is the Mutsy boosters. We have all four colors in but they go fast so please call the store if you would like to pay for one over the phone and I can set it aside for you.
Try to stay warm and cozy up to your little ones in this icky weather....winter is ALMOST over.
Have a happy Monday!

Boys just want to have fun (too)....

Holly and I hear on a weekly basis "you hardly have any boys stuff". In reality we are very careful to carry equal amounts of boy and girl clothing but unfortunately boys stuff just doesn't stand out as much. Well, the boys stuff that we got in this week not only stands out but its fun, boyish, and a little funky. Just check out some of this adorable line from Knuckleheads...

If you are into a more classic look for boys we have a great line of clothing from Wes and Willy --adorable sweatshirts, polos, and khakis. We are still waiting on some images so we can post them to the blog.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Terrible twos here we come....

So, I'm trying to figure out why my sweet little baby Lucy is slowly turning into a schitzophrenic, pms'ing teenager and all I can figure out is that two is quickly approaching. She has always been such an easy going kid and the last few weeks it seems the littlest thing can send her into a total tantrum! Here's an example....

Here's my sweet Lucy showing off the new playhouse her auntie got her for Valentines Day (thanks again auntie Mel).

Doesn't she look so sweet and innocent???

Here she was just moments later when we were getting ready for bed.....

Ummmm, yeah, this was all because I was trying to explain to her that it doesn't work as well to try to suck on TWO nukies at once. She was furious at ME because of this. Really??? I don't get it. You would have thought I had just cut off the head of one of her favorite dollies because she was completely DEVASTATED! I remember Holly's little Isabelle going through this at this same age but you really don't understand until it's your child throwing the irrational fit! I'm finding that it doesn't help to giggle and take pictures with your cell phone in the midst of one of these "episodes" but seriously, I can't resist.

Here is one of our favorites of Isabelle in the middle of one of these tantrums. Apparently she figured jamming her fingers up her nose meant she was serious business!

Yep....that's one for the baby book for sure!
The girls got to spend some quality time together this weekend while Holly and I were at the store (thanks grandma Marilyn and Poppa Dave). Aside from the few "you're not my best friend anymore" and "she POKED me" moments, they spent the day playing, hugging, and just enjoying being with their little bff's. It's so fun watching them grow and we can't wait for all that is to come. We hope you had a great weekend and want to thank everyone who made it out for our sale!
Have a great week!
